Social media platforms such as FaceBook and Twitter are now two of the fast growing sites.  More and more people are hooked into updating their profiles, playing games, engaging with friends and family.  Who wouldn’t be engrossed?  It is easy and it is fun, but most of all it is real time.   I realized this phenomenon even further when I attended a conference on social networking in the Philippines and the statistics presented were staggering.  I was most interested when they presented something on Twitter.

Creativity is mandatory not just for designers, it is also important for writers too. There are days when you seem to be so overwhelmed with your work or just simply can’t get your creative juice flowing. But did you know that if you are on the Social Networking Platform Twitter, you maybe able to get the boost you need? Twitter to some is just a site to share personal updates but if you have been on Twitter for a longer period like I have, you would say that it has truly evolved to much much more.

Some people have mentioned that they want to learn how to draw, but have problems creating even the simplest cartoon characters.  I always believe that if there is a will, there is a way.  People tend to get scared to even try because they feel intimidated.  But did you know that you can create simple cartoon characters using basic shapes? Here is a tutorial that will allow you to create a cartoon bug using the Elipse.

Writing for Bit Rebels and Ink Rebels takes majority of my free time, next is Twitter!  Twitter has become a big part of my life.  If you do not see me updating my FaceBook or playing games on the site, you will most probably see me very active on Twitter.
