What is a Doodle? A doodle is a type of sketch, an unfocused drawing made while a person’s attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be abstract shapes. Stereotypical examples of doodling are found in school notebooks, often in the margins, drawn by students daydreaming or losing interest during class. Other common examples of doodling are produced during long telephone conversations if a pen and paper are available.Popular kinds of doodles include cartoon versions of teachers or companions in a school, famous TV or comic characters, invented fictional beings, landscapes, geometric shapes, textures, banners with legends, and animations made by drawing a scene sequence in various pages of a book or notebook.
Render Your Image via Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to Create Your Art!
A simple drawing or doodle or sketch, whatever you prefer to call it can be turned into a work of art, just use a lot of imagination and creativity.
The Black and white pencil sketch can be made into a painting like image that you can use as wall paper for your mobile or your computer.
You can create a lot of scenarios with just one drawing.
TweetLove
Since the month of hearts is just a couple of weeks away, a better way to express it is by showing 2 Twitter birds who are in love! Sweeeet! Combination of colors and shapes will allow you to create the mood!
Just Tweet
But if you prefer to use the digital pencil, why not create your doodle using Adobe Illustrator. I just toyed around with the shapes and colors and the finished product is what I’d like to call #Just Tweet!
So much possibilities! The styles can vary. You can use an airbrush art, watercolor or make a pop art. The illustrations above will be a part of a series of drawings that I do plan to make to show you the various styles that one can play with. But remember it will all start with just a plain doodle!
So just in case you want to start learning how to do it too, carry a pencil and a blank paper with you for the next few days and try to create shapes and figures, who knows what can pop out from that simple sketch! Or if you want you can share them with me and we can take a look at how I can help you turn it into a digital piece. You can email your doodles at mistygirlph@hotmail.com.
