Creativity is mandatory not just for designers, it is also important for writers too. There are days when you seem to be so overwhelmed with your work or just simply can’t get your creative juice flowing. But did you know that if you are on the Social Networking Platform Twitter, you maybe able to get the boost you need? Twitter to some is just a site to share personal updates but if you have been on Twitter for a longer period like I have, you would say that it has truly evolved to much much more.
There are so many benefits one can get by tweeting and using the said platform. You can get information, moral support.  Here are five (5) ways that Twitter can help you:
1. Follow Creative People – Following designers, writers artist can really help you because you are guaranteed that they will be sharing links that are specific to their main interest. Most of them will have blogs or sites that speak about their experiences.
2. Get the community’s feedback – You can get topic ideas by asking your followers and the people you follow. Most of the time I would ask a question and people would answer back, they tell me what they want to know about real time.
3. Get inspiration from your friends – Most of your friends there as I have mentioned on #1 would have blogs or sites and majority would have some inspiring and very informative articles on writing or designing. They would most probably share one way or another articles on How To improve yourself or how to get out of a rut when your creative juice is not flowing. They may even share tools that will enable you to work efficiently.
4. Get the moral support and the boost of confidence -There are days when the reason of not being fully creative is when we feel in doubt of our own capabilities. I am very lucky to know people like @r27, @adamsconsulting, @cheth @bkmacdaddy@minervity @NomentionofKev @earthXplorer @petwebdesigner @paul_steele @kim @laurawalker86 @amfan_jenny, @andysowards @AskAaronLee @BarryckR @mjnewham @alvinthethird @santoscreative @ruhanirabin @Sung_H_Lee @myniffie @rmilana @vimags21 and whole lot of caring tweeps that always has a kind word to uplift any spirit.
5. Tweet Creatively – The best way to get your creative juice flowing is by just letting it out. Try to Tweet Creatively. Yes you can do this. I have seen the best of them do it and I have in my way done it myself when I am in need of some boost. I blip (Tweet music), or use Twitter keys (symbols). Its also fun!!
So the next time you feel the need to crank up some creativity, Check out your stream there are gems that can help you get the boost you need.
